Just:: are a 30 strong healthcare PR agency based in London. We believe that it's important to put community before commerce once in a while, so every year we commit to spending 5% of our time on pro bono work. Because we're passionate about communications and health, when we see an opportunity to communicate a health message that benefits the community (without benefiting our bank balance) we usually take it. We’re curious people and fascinated by the way bodies and minds work and we’re keen to know more. We constantly ask questions to unravel the issues behind each project we take on.
We love collaborating with an assortment of partners on diverse projects and we want our 5% to make a real difference. So this year, we are inviting charities to be bold and try 'Pitching for Partnership'. Successful applicants will be awarded a "grant" of communications resources up to £50,000. The resource will be made available as time (hours of time from the Just:: Health PR team) that we will commit to working in collaboration with you, to develop and deliver your project or campaign ideas in 2011.
Just:: click here to start your application process and share with us your aims, expectations and ideas for the communications project or campaign you'd like our support on. Applications must fall into 1of 3 categories: Mind, Body or Society (for more details please read our criteria for entry). Once you've completed your form, upload it here and then start thinking about what you'd like to tell us (or ask us), if you're selected. A shortlist of entries from each category will be invited to our offices in November 2010 to make a short presentation to our friendly judging panel, about how 'Pitching for Partnership' could help you deliver an unmet need.
Just:: has a history of charitable support, which dates back to its inception in 2006, when the Founders committed 5% of the agency's forecast income on working pro bono for not for profit organisations, an investment of £275,00 so far. To date we have worked with Beating Bowel Cancer, Family Planning Association, Food for Life and Central YMCA amongst others. Want to know more...Just:: click here
